Unique Features of SouthBridge
Secure Truck Stop Logistics Operations
A unique feature of each SouthBridge facility is the secure truck stop logistics operation, which will serve as an anchor for the entire network. These facilities will include re-fueling stations, cafeterias, convenience stores, and other travel amenities, catering to both the commercial trucks within the SouthBridge logistics network and the general travel population. This setup not only enhances the efficiency of logistics operations but also provides essential services to those traveling through the region.
Security Integration and National Guard Partnership
A crucial aspect of the SouthBridge project is the integration of security measures requested by the Mexican government. The new design of our logistics hubs includes sleeping quarters and facilities for the Mexico National Guard. Their presence on-site ensures robust perimeter security and facilitates a rapid response team capable of addressing any issues that arise between logistical points along the network.
Customs Delayed Duty Port
Our Customs Delayed Duty Port service provides specialized facilities with free trade zones where clients can process goods in transit without immediate tax obligations. This service allows businesses to temporarily store, process, or repackage merchandise, deferring import duties until the goods leave the facility. It’s an ideal solution for companies looking to optimize cash flow and streamline operations while taking advantage of tax-exempt processing in a secure, regulated environment.
